My name is Sara Crowe. I’m a writer and photographer, represented by Joanna Swainson at the Hardman and Swainson Literary Agency. My YA novel Bone Jack will be published by Andersen Press/Random House in 2014.
I’m currently travelling around Britain in a big van for a year and working on my next book.

What do you intend to do with the sword? John Snow had a raven, and you see where that got him. So did St. Brendan.
The sword just hangs around, biding its time and ready to smite
I followed a link here from Litopia.
Superb list – I must do one – mine looks a little minimalist now!
Now, which of those was the easiest to own up to? And which the most difficult?
The most difficult were probably my fear of heights and my rubbish one-handed typing, because they involve my being useless at certain things.
The easiest – well, all the rest really, I guess!
I’m looking forward to hearing you speak at the Isle of Man Litfest.
Thank you, Patricia
Your blog has gone very quiet. Are you on a huge project at the moment? I’m only posting once ever 5 days or so. I am on a mission to make my university application look so marvellous they can’t turn me down. I did a first draft of my Personal Statement a couple of days ago. It needs a little polish but it is looking quite tasty already. Hope you are well.
Hi GB – I’m fine thanks, just in the process of selling my house so endlessly decorating, tidying and cleaning for prospective buyer viewings. I’ve got a half-written blog entry sitting in my dashboard waiting to be finished – will try to get it done in the next couple of days.
I think I might apply for a job working for the blog inactivity police! Hope the viewings go well. When we put our house on the market last we had some very interesting people come round. Including a woman who checked the toilet for correct flushing three times.
Also I really need to do a 20 things you didn’t know about me page. Also I have an old plate box camera. The shutter is a bit unreliable but I managed to slide in to the glass plate holders some carefully cut sheets of photographic paper. I got some images. In negative of course but photoshop sorted that out. I’m going to stop typing now before I hijack your blog.
Great! Will you post the images to your blog? Sheet film is also good in a plate camera though more of a faff than photographic paper. My plate camera is all boxed up to go into storage
Babies in boxes
I tend not to post my photography to my blog, except as a featured image. I am getting less structured and uptight about what I post as time goes on – which is a good thing.
Love this -

How Beautiful!
I have given you a blogger award – you may not have the time to deal with it but you are welcome to bathe in the adulation. The details can be found at http://graphitebunny.wordpress.com/2012/09/22/blogger-award/ x
Thank you. The problem I have with awards is that by the time someone gives one to me, the few bloggers I know of have already received it and there’s hardly anyone left for me to nominate
That is always the problem. I also nominated Chime and if he posted an award it would ruin the beautiful layout of his blog!
